No doubt Philips is the leader in low budget earphones and headphones. Philips SHP1900/97 is an over ear headphone. The over-ear headphone has an advantage of comfort. In over ear headphones ear cups doesn’t press your ears, so you don’t feel pain while using continuously for long hours.
I have bought this headphone a few years back and it last for two years. I found it somewhat weak in the bass as compared to above neckband not much but a little. But it is perfect for watching movies and listening moderate music.
If you need a headphone that you will be using only at home, then buy this one. But if you need a portable headphone then obviously above neckband by Philips is a much better option. For Indoor purpose Philips SHP1900/97 is he best over ear headphone under 500 Rs.

Panasonic RP-HT161E-K is an over-ear headphone that looks good and is comfortable to ears. But the problem is that it is overpriced as compared to Philips. Both Third and forth place headphones have same almost audio quality, but Panasonic headphone has more price.
But If somehow you get it under 450Rs then it a good option. Build quality is good; it will last for long if used properly. It is compatible with almost all the main handset manufacturers.

Panasonic RP-HT010GU-A is an on-ear headphone that has got decent looks. Due to its lightweight, it is very comfortable to ears. But on the other hand, you will not get the isolation to outside noise. So for travelers, this is not a good option.
Like most of the headphones, it is adjustable to head by sliding headband. Music quality is good at this price no doubt. If you see the pic, its jack is not straight which is good for some peoples.

SBCHL140/98 is the cheapest headphone by Philips. You can get it by paying around 300Rs or less depending on offers. Like most of the Philips headphones, this one is also giving superb audio output. It has stainless steel headband that is quite flexible and durable. So their durability is for sure.
Philips haven’t provided any covering on the headband that I feel is a little bit annoying. You can adjust it according to your head size by using a sliding headband. I have bought this headphone for review at 200Rs during the sale. Firstly I thought that It would be just ok. But after listening music, I felt that you could no get any headphone better than this under 250Rs.
This headset is for all those who need a regular low-cost headphone for watching movies and listening music. One more thing, for first 3 to 4 days it will be tight on your ears, but after that, it will expand and will fit on ears comfortably.

Till Now, I have provided you six best headphones under 500Rs. But I decided to add two headphones with a microphone under 500Rs. For some people mic is must, may be due to gaming, video calling or whatever may the reason. So Logitech H110 Stereo Headset is for all those whose primary preference is the best headphone with mic under 500Rs.
Though music quality of this headphone will not be like the above headphones. But this one and the below-given headphone are the only two with a microphone and decent music quality. Logitech headset is lightweight and small in size. It has a mic with noise cancellation feature that works pretty well in this price range.
Mic is rotating and can be adjusted according to your needs. But the only problem it has two jacks one for audio and one for a mic. So while using it on mobile, you can plugin only one jack that too audio jack. So it is perfect only for PCs.

This headphone is also for Pcs only due to two 3.5mm jacks one for audio and one for mic signals. This one is an over ear headphone which makes it comfortable for addicted gamers. You will get average bass; I will not recommend you this for EDM music, but it serves well for watching movies and playing games.
Mic quality is average. It has a 2m long cord which is a plus point for this. Overall it is an okay package built for those who need a mic with headphones in low budget.
