Adds radiance, finishes make up. Spray it on. Skin drinks it up!”1. Setting Spray
Have you ever applied your makeup and looked in the mirror only to realize you look super powdery or your makeup is just too cakey? I feel like we all have at some point or another and that is the perfect time to use MAC Fix +. After you have finished applying all of your makeup (I usually use this after face makeup and before eye makeup) to blend your makeup into your skin for a more natural look, spray this evenly over your entire face and allow it to sit to dry for a few seconds. This allows the makeup to set into your skin and not sit on top of it. Another application method is to  spray it onto a skunk brush and gently using circular motion, sweep it across onto the face. For some people applying it to a brush then sweeping it onto the face works better than spraying it directly onto the skin. When it comes to staying power MAC Fix + doesn’t necessarily make my makeup last longer but it does make it look better haha!!!2. Refreshing Spray

Refresh your face before applying makeup or you can use it to simply refresh your skin throughout the day (especially since summer’s here in full force). I love the feeling of the cool mist on my face not to mention that it actually smells AMAZING. I love using this as a refreshing spray throughout the day because it refreshes your face and wakes you up. Fix + also can refresh your makeup products. When I have a  gel or creme eyeliner that is starting to dry out I just spray it with Fix + and it is like new again.3. Hair Detangler

I used to wet my hairbrush with water before running it through my hair to help smooth fly aways but now I spray it with Fix + and it does the trick while also detangling my hair! It also makes my hair smell oh so yummy. I also like spray Fix + into my wet hair before I blow dry it and it helps make it soft and shiny.4. Mixing Medium

Use Fix+ as a mixing medium to help make loose pigments more vibrant. Spray your eyeshadow brush with Fix+ (make sure your brush is damp, not soaked) and gently pick up some pigment. Tap off any excess pigment and pat on your lid to apply. Using this method also helps the pigment stay on longer because the MAC Fix+ acts a bonding agent. Another perk is that it makes the loose shadows easier apply because there is less fallout, which is one my biggest annoyance with loose pigments.4. Dilute Liquid Products

Lastly, you can use MAC’s Fix+ to dilute foundation or concealer. If you have a concealer that is on the thicker side or may be hard to apply, give it a quick spritz to make it easier to work with. Or if you have a thicker coverage foundation and want to sheer it out a little for summer, mix foundation and a spray of Fix+ on the back of your hand and apply. Also, If you have a fast drying foundation that doesn’t give you a lot of application time, try using Fix+ to give you a little more time to perfect your liquid or cream foundation.

Have you ever tried MAC Fix + and do you think it’s worth the hype?
