A Second Chance At The Road Less Traveled

A Second Chance At The Road Less Traveled

Everyone deserves a second chance : Not just your work associates or those close to you in life – but you – yourself too.
Maybe it is a second chance when you missed an opportunity open to you that you chose not to pursue, you deserve a second chance – because you believe in yourself.  We all deserve a second chance to make a difference!

Paving Your Own Path – Could Be Your Second Chance

When one door closes – whether noiselessly shutting or banging closed with a slam.  Look for another door – embrace that other opportunity – give yourself another chance.  If you have the courage to give yourself another chance – you can also give others around you a second chance.

Everyone Deserves A Second Chance

Many of you know my story – almost 3 years ago – my career as an executive in the logistics industry came to a close – looking back – it was a slam heard round the world actually.  And my loved ones and those closest to me embraced me, supported me and encouraged me.  In challenging times you discover who your real friends are and you can choose to give yourself a second chance no matter how bleak things may appear.

Entrepreneurship Is Paving Your Own Path – One Oftentimes Not Traveled At All

Maybe that path you take as an entrepreneur is not only less traveled – but seems to be headed in a completely different direction than the direction you have been headed for so long in your life.  Yet it may be the journey you must take now in life for your success.  Have Faith – Give yourself a chance and embrace the newtake a new path

Second chances do not necessarily relate to failure at something a first time – it can be a second chance to succeed once again at something you have discovered a new passion for!  An alternative path to take again.  The path of  Being A Successful Entrepreneur is mostly about Paving Your Own Path

Taking The Road Less Traveled

Robert Frost one of the most famous American poets was 40 years old and had not yet published a single book of poetry. So in 1912 he decided he deserved a second chance at sharing his passion with others – he sold his farm in New England and actually moved to London. And sure enough 4 years later his classic poem The Road Not Taken was published.  Not only did he make a new start – he stayed committed to that new start for four long years

This classic poem is not just about a walk in the woods.  It is a thoughtful story about the choices we have available to us, the nature of of those choices we make and how we ultimately feel about the path we did or did not take.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I–
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

…Robert Frost

So many people fail to give themselves a second chance and go to their grave wondering “what if…” having failed to follow their passion. You can choose to avoid regret and give yourself a second chance.
