In keeping with my new years resolution I decided to try a fitness class that was completely out of my comfort zone. I’ve always been a runner and I’m used to lifting weights, but I’ve never tried rowing before so when I came across
I thought I’d give it a try.
Row House is a boutique fitness studio offering indoor rowing based group workouts. It consists of rowing intervals, body weight and weight based exercises. It’s great for people looking for a cardio based workout that’s easier on the feet and knees compared to long distance running and sprinting.
Overall, I loved the class and definitely recommend it! The instructors were great and taught the class for all levels of rowers and not only was it a great cardio workout but it forced me to engage upper body muscles like my back and arms in a completely different way. And the best part of the class was the end when the instructors turn off the lights and have you row your hardest with music blasting, so fun!
