Happy Tuesday, foodie friends! I have been meaning to write this post for a while. Like a rain cloud in November, this post has been looming over me. When I think about the foods that I don’t think I could live without there are three things that immediately come to mind: cheese, sausage and eggs. Eggs are so freaking good and today, I’m going to share with you why I love them.
First, I have a haiku for you.
Eggs are so so great
I love to eat them every day

Okay, I don’t know if that works perfectly, but I feel like it’s close enough right?! 8D
Now for a list of recipes that feature egg love:
1. French Toast
French toast is one of my favorite things to eat any time of year. It’s a quick breakfast item, and honestly they always end up tasting amazing. They’re really hard to mess up. Holly shared an amazing recipe for
a few years ago, and I still think of it often.
2. Cute Quiche
Yes, indeed, I love quiche. Mini quiche, big quiche, meaty quiche, cheesy quiche. Sharpay Evans once sang, “I want it all!” I have to say, when it comes to this egg dish, I couldn’t agree more. Check out Rosie’s recipe for some.
3. Eggs in Salad
Honestly, after breakfast, the next natural place for eggs to be found are in salads. Summertime is the perfect time to slice up a hard boiled egg and put it on your dinner salad. Maybe you’d like to try this
featuring a hard boiled egg?
4. Breakfast Burritos for dayssss
Speaking of breakfast, one of my favorite breakfasts is a burrito. The eggs and sausage all wrapped up make for a filing and satisfying breakfast.
back in the early days of the blog that I still think of fondly. 🙂
5. Desserts Require Eggs
No list about a celebration of all the powerful things you can make with eggs would be complete without a shout out to all the incredible desserts you can make with eggs. I’m thinking of all my delicious cheesecakes. Shout out to this
that is going to definitely make a comeback this fall.
Okay, I hope I’ve given you all some egg-spiration to go out and make something yummy for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert. If you still need more, I’d even give a special shout out to these eggs benedict featuring
or this one with .
