Full disclosure, I’ve never built a chicken coop. Originally, I got this guide because a friend and I were looking to sell pre-cut kits using one of these plans. That didn’t pan out but the plans themselves were excellent. What do you get?
You get excellent, high quality plans that are computer drawn with step by step instructions, cross sectional diagrams and full color illustrations. You get a detailed material list to print out and take to your local hardware shop… so they can prepare and even saw everything to the right dimensions for you!
Here are a few of the plans included.Plan #1: Chicken Hut
This chicken coop plan features built-in roosts, a convenient easy-to-clean nesting box, two large access doors, and a chicken access door you can close as needed. The Chicken Hut has it all!Plan #2: Poultry Shack
The Poultry Shack is a throw-back to old times with the seated rafters, shed-style look and full chicken run attached. A large 10×12’ floor plan allows for up to 30 chickens at one time. Sturdy construction allows for electrical installation and insulation for cold weather climates.Plan #3: Cluck Carrier
The Cluck Carrier is the ultimate accessory for anyone with 1-5 chickens. Any other backyard chicken coops cannot compare to the convenience of a Cluck Carrier. With three opening panels for cleaning and easy chicken removal, the Cluck Carrier offers unparalleled ease-of-use. With the optional nesting boxes, gathering eggs has never been easier.Plan #4: Poultry Farmer
The Poultry Farmer 2 is small-scale chicken farming reinvented! With enough space for over 100 chickens the Poultry Farmer 2 chicken coop plan has all of the amenities of the poultry farmer such as chicken accesses, full human accesses, cleanouts and convenient nesting boxes.
