How much does abeoCoder cost?
abeo’s anesthesia coding App is available as a free download on iPhone/iPad, BlackBerry, and Android devices.
If I don’t do my own coding, why would an anesthesia coding App be helpful?
Whether you do your own anesthesia coding or not , abeoCoder is a great tool for referencing anesthesia CPT, ASA and ICD codes. Anesthesiologists and CRNAs can use abeoCoder to verify the correct anesthesia code was in their case, to lookup average billable time, or research a code when needed.
Does abeoCoder have ICD 10 codes?
CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid) does not require ICD 10 codes to be used until October 1, 2015. abeo is preparing software updates for this upcoming change. The transition from ICD 9 to ICD 10 codes on abeoCoder will not take affect until closer to October 1, 2015.
What is my user name and legal entity? Why is this needed?
After downloading and installing abeoCoder, you must read and accept the end-user agreement. Secondly, and require a user name and legal entity be entered before using abeoCoder. This information will not be used to contact you and will not be provided to any outside parties.
User Name = Enter your name or a variation/abbreviation of your name. Example: John Smith, JSmith..
Legal Entity = Enter your business name. Example: Anesthesia Practice, Inc.
