Aspire Development Partners and LFW Investments announced plans for the development of a unique and cutting edge senior living community in the north Florida island community of Amelia Island. The site is located on Amelia Island Parkway near the Fernandina Airport.  Construction is scheduled to start in early 2016.  The plan calls for 100 units of independent living and 75 units of assisted living and memory care residences.  Thoughtfully incorporated into a stylish, resort-like campus, and situated on a picturesque 12-acre site, the development will deliver an exceptional level of hospitality, service and care. The project is expected to add nearly 300 new operational and construction jobs to the area.

A great addition to our community is coming soon. Aspire Development Partners is planning to start construction of Arbor Terrace at Johns Creek, a 100 unit senior living facility with assisted living and memory care, this summer. The facility will be located between Mathis Airport Road and Pops Liquor Store. Construction is expected to take approximately one year. The facility is being designed by the award winning Dallas architectural firm, PRDG. The principals of PRDG toured Laurel Springs and the surrounding area to get a sense of the landscape and architecture with the goal of creating a site and building design that will look and feel like a natural extension of the community.

The site will incorporate extensive landscaping and the two story building exterior will be accented with wood and stone. The facility will add substantially to the county tax revenue base but will have no impact on the school system and is expected to have only a few residents that drive their own automobiles. The community will provide transportation to residents for shopping and services in the local area.

An open house will be held exclusively for Laurel Springs residents during the grand opening week planned for the summer of 2015.
