Black & Decker 3 in 1 Trimmer, Edger & Mower Review
This 3 in 1 edging tool that has a mower, edger and trimmer. The most notable are the mowing and edging features. It comes with a casing that houses the edger to make the design of a lawn mower but can be removed for trimming and edging. Simply insert the trimmer into its proper place in the casing and it locks into place and now can be wheeled around like a lawn mower. You are now ready to mow. Now you probably shouldn’t get in your mind that this is a substitute for needing a lawnmower it is not, though it could mow a very small yard, so never say never.
To release there is a lever and it comes right out. For the Edging there is a wheel to help assist. The spool is self feeding so this takes most of the hassle out of yard work. You won’t find yourself going to rethread your spool or adjusting your line very often. When the spool is out you can easily rethread it with .55mm line and go on about your business.
Black & Decker 3 in 1 Trimmer, Edger & Mower is a great multitasker for small yards on a budget. It can handle big yards too because Black and Decker offers both battery and corded models. I went with the corded version because I hear the battery powered version loses power over time and use. But my yard is close enough to all power outlets that it doesn’t bother me. But if I were out in the country or had a really big yard I would probably go with the battery powered version. Either way, its great use and a very creative approach to a multi functional lawn tool by Black and Decker and I certainly would recommend this product to everyone for its effectiveness and hats off to Black and Decker for making yard work a little easier.

In this particular review I am reviewing the corded model as I don’t live out in the country and the corded model is sufficient in power to get the job done as I have read reviews that the battery model at times can lack power on a low battery charge. As far as the battery model is concerned while it may lack lower power, it makes up for with portability making it an edger you can take with you anywhere.
Black & Decker 3 in 1 Trimmer, Edger & Mower comes with a wheeled housing to make the edger sit flat like the blades of a lawn mower. Because of this you can easily mow your lawn with it. Outside the lawn mowing housing, when detached it offers a wheel for edging so you can get perfect results edging sidewalks and driveways. While Trimming and Edging the wheel also works as a guide, to keep your edger at an even keel when edging and trimming alongside the house or fence-line. My favorite feature however is the self adjusting spool that makes it possible to finish the project without constantly needing to stop to replace it.
At a very affordable price it is perfect for anybody with a small lawn, a place out in the country or for somebody who is on a budget and not able to afford a lawn mower. While I can not speak highly of the appearance of the lawn mowed from this multi tasking lawn tool, it certainly is capable of getting the job done.
