Ticia Pilati, owner of Blue Lotus Bodyworks, is originally from Basalt, Colorado.

In 2002 she graduated from Full Circle School of Alternative Therapies in Edwards, Colorado.

Ticia is a certified massage therapist, registered in the state of Colorado, with over 800 hours of training.

Always striving to broaden her education, in 2004, Ticia went on to become a Certified Spa Elements Therapist through Boulder College of Massage Therapy.

During the winter of 2008, Ticia traveled to western Belize to study with Dr. Rosita Arvigo, where she learned traditional Maya Abdominal Massage and Spiritual Healing.

In 2006, Ticia made her dream a reality and moved to San Pedro, Belize.

She has traveled extensively throughout the world and thrives on the exploration of other cultures.

Ticia has a lifelong interest in healing and wellness and is a regular practitioner of yoga.

Her 11 years of ongoing yoga practice provides her with discipline, focus and an ever-expanding awareness of the human body.

When asked why she moved to Belize, Ticia replies, “the clear blue water feeds my soul and I can’t imagine being anywhere else.

I am truly blessed to have found my home”.

Blue Lotus Bodyworks only employs massage therapists that have been trained and certified/licensed.
