Fix connection problem or invalid MMI code error: No doubts smart phones have given us a complete entertainment package within a small gadget. But there is no use smart phone if you are unable to call or text. I have covered many errors in my previous posts about calling problems. In this post also I will tell you about one such error i.e. connection problem or invalid MMI number.

This error won’t allow you to call or text anyone. Sometimes you cannot even recharge your phone through airtime. Most common form is when you try to call someone an error flashed in your screen saying connection problem or invalid MMI Code. This error could be due to SIM authentication or issues with your carrier provider.

Also this error is most common in dual SIM devices and especially in Samsung smart phones like galaxy’s duos, galaxy grand etc. When you use carrier provider’s activity like calling, texting, checking your phone’s balance, recharging through airtime etc. So just go through some of the possible solutions that can help you to resolve this connection problem or invalid MMI code error. You can try any of the methods most of them are effective.

Method 1

To fix invalid MMI code in android phones: It could be due to any recently installed app that which is causing this error in your smart phone. I advice you to uninstall any app installed recently. To check just turn safe mode on in your smart phone and try to call or type service providers any code.

Like *141#, *123# etc.

Safe mode will disable all your apps and you can use basic features like calling etc.

As I have said earlier this error is most common in Samsung phones.
