Chainfire has now come up with a fantastic app called Mobile ODIN. The Mobile ODIN will help you flash new firmwares directly from your mobile device.
You just need to have the firmware files on the internal or external SD card of your device. The Mobile ODIN will ONLY work for rooted devices. The Mobile ODIN is currently supported by only a selected devices,
I’m sure Chainfire is working on adding support for other Android devices soon.
There are two versions of Mobile ODIN, the one is the lite version which is available free of cost. The Pro version needs to be bought from the Android Market.
If you are wondering what is the difference between the two versions, with the pro version the EverRoot feature is enabled. EverRoot allows you to root your device while its being flashed, reducing effors and saving lots of precious time. You can download the Mobile ODIN Lite app from .
