Silver Shield Resources is a public

company whose principal business is

the acquisition, exploration and development

of mineral resource properties in

Northern Ontario and Mexico with a

focus on silver. Silver Shield is

currently a party to option agreements

pertaining to five different properties

including the Welsh Mine Property

in the historically prolific silver

producing Elk Lake-Gowganda area of

Ontario and the La Cumbre Property

in Guerrero, Mexico. The company completed

a 43-101 compliant technical report

on the Welsh Property in January 2007

following an exploration program in

2006.

On August 16th 2007 Silver Shield

Resources completed the second option

payment on it’s La Cumbre Property

in Guerrero State Mexico and announced

that preliminary exploration work

would commence immediately. The property

consists of 2 claims “La Cumbre” and

“La Cumbre 2” for a total of 4,000

Ha. The company believes this project

to be a complementary project in nature

and scope to it’s Ontario projects.

The company’s objective is to strive

for quality developmental projects

that can be advanced to production.

It believes the La Cumbre to be in

line with this objective.
