So what to do when you have hundreds or thousands of amount in your Paytm wallet and Paytm says : You have reached maximum allowed transactions for your account . Please upgrade your account or write us care@paytm.com , when your maximum transaction limit reached you can not recharge your mobile, DTH or pay bills etc.
Actually at Paytm The maximum monetary value that can be stored at any point of time in a Paytm Wallet Prime Account is INR 1,00,000/-(INR One lakh only). The maximum permitted value of Transactions at any point of time in Paytm Wallet Prime Account is INR 1,00,000/- (INR One lakh only). The maximum monetary value that can be stored and utilized in a month in a Paytm Wallet Basic Account is INR 10,000/- (INR Ten Thousand Only). The maximum monetary value that can be transferred from one Paytm Wallet Account to other Paytm Wallet or bank account in a single transaction is INR 5,000/- (INR Five Thousand only). The maximum monetary value that can be transferred from one Paytm Wallet Account to other Paytm Wallet or bank account in a single month is INR 25,000/- (INR Twenty Five Thousand only). Subject to guidelines/notifications issued by RBI from time to time these limitations may be reviewed and modified at the discretion of Paytm without prior intimation to the Customer.
I have seen most of consumer complaint forum for the same problem, here is the solution :
Sign out from the existing paytm account and register with the another mobile number or email id (But remember your previous user id and password). After sign up with your new user id and password sign out from Paytm, and login with your old user id which account transaction limit has been reached. After logging in click on wallet icon which is look like..
After this click on Send money > Enter your new register email id/mobile number > Enter your total ammout which you have in your current Paytm wallet > and click on Send Money.
Login with your new user id with Paytm and Enjoy Recharging your Phone, DTH, Pay Bill, Shopping etc.
