Steps For LG P970 Kitkat 4.4.1 Update.
1-To install this update ,you should have an original LG USB cable of your phone.
2-Now install USB drive of LG.If you don’t have,download from >><<3-Charge your phone’s battery upto 80%.4-Please make a backup of all your user data such as Messages,Call logs,Contacts,Apps data.Because rom install process may wipe out all data.(Your phone must be rooted and have latest CWM version or TWRP installed)5-Now enable USB debugging by navigate to Settings>>Developer option>>USB Debugging.
6- Now download these Rom files.
7-After following above steps now connect your phone to PC & copy above download file to your phone’s SD card root folder.
8-Now disconnect your phone and turn off it .now hold Volume up + Home button + Power button.
12-Now you are in CWM recovery mode. Select option to clear all your data.
13-select and click from advance option.
14-Now go back in recovery menu and select option.
15-Now choose OMNI ROM zip file and install it.
16-After that do same steps with G apps zip file and install it.
17-Now you are done. Select option and click on reboot system now.

Thanks for the effort, I am new to rooting and flashing stuff, but my optimus black is almost dead and I hope kitkat will make him usable again, I rooted the device (don`t know how to check if it worked or not ), but don`t know how find “SD root folder”

Ok, I read about the root directory and got it, now when I go to the recovery mood I get a window saying that this the recovery mood, remove the battery and reattached it and turn on your phone, nothing is responding and no other options.
