NARS Dolce Vita was awarded “Best Overall Lipstick” 2017 InStyle “Best Beauty Buys” and for very good reason. It’s beautiful lightweight formula glides on smoothly while nourishing and protecting lips. If you like “my lips but better” shades that apply sheer with a hint of color and moisturize, then you have to try NARS Dolce Vita…well I guess you don’t HAVE to, but I really think you should! Trust me, you won’t regret it.
NARS Dolce Vita has a beautiful sheer formula and is infused with ingredients to help condition and moisturize the lips. I generally find that when lipsticks are this moisturizing the color doesn’t generally last long but the pigmentation of this lipstick is long lasting and provides a sophisticated shine. I love that this lipstick does not emphasize fine lines or dryness on the lips and is my go-to no fuss lipstick choice for everyday natural looks.
Dolce Vita is the first NARS lipstick I have ever owned because $26 is a steep price tag for me, but man was it worth it! Luckily, I had a gift card that covered most of the cost but even without the gift card, I still would have purchased this amazing lipstick. It is definitely a holy grail product for me.
This sheer build-able natural rosy shade is universally flattering on many skin tones and is perfect for my light/medium olive toned skin. I do not need to reapply this shade often as it is long lasting and wears off naturally so it does not end up looking patchy throughout the day.
All in all, I would give this lipstick an A+ rating and think that anyone who loves sheer, natural lipcolors need this one in their collection. Have you tried any NARS lipsticks?
