The Miami based, nationally recognized trial law firm Hickey Law Firm, P.A. is pleased to announce that its lead trial attorney, John H. (Jack) Hickey, spoke on settlement negotiation on a panel on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 in Boca Raton, Florida for the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Winter Convention. Hickey also participated on a panel organized by AAJ for St. Thomas University School of Law students on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.
Hickey and the other speakers provided practical advice on how to navigate the legal market, what they wish they had known before graduating law school, and what it means to be a trial lawyer.
AAJ is the world’s largest trial bar. It is a national organization for the plaintiff’s bar.
Hickey is on the Board of Governors of The Florida Bar, the body which regulates the practice of law and all lawyers who practice in Florida, and is a Past President of the Dade County Bar Association. Hickey is triple Board Certified by 2 different bodies, the National Board of Trial Advocates (Trial Lawyer) and by The Florida Bar (Civil Trial and Admiralty and Maritime). He has an A/V Preeminent rating by Martindale Hubbell and has been named by his peers to the “Legal Elite” in the area of aviation, admiralty, and maritime by Florida Trend magazine, one of the “Top Attorneys in Florida” in the Wall Street Journal, and as a “Super Lawyer” by Superlawyer.com.
