This latest feature from Facebook is currently working for few Facebook users only to allow them to sell their goods through its “Sell Something” option in the Facebook groups.
You can find this selling option just within the (Write Post) button in Facebook groups. It will simply ask users to share the price, description, product details, delivery options and pictures.
Once, you will share your post through this option, Facebook will format it nicely, so that other people can easily comment their offers or discuss it. This amazing Facebook feature is just an attempt to benefit the buying and selling groups on Facebook.
Once, you have posted your item, Facebook is not going to do anything further to facilitate your transaction or do any other stuff, however, it will only format it to look more like an e-commerce sort of a thing by providing delivery options, clear pics and description.
This new feature is still being tested right now, but you can only look at its page that explains that Facebook will not be responsible for any purchases or sales being made through this option.
This is what Facebook has to say about their new cool feature:
We are testing a new feature within Facebook Groups to help people better organize posts about items they’d like to sell to other people on Facebook. This is a small test limited to select Facebook Groups that have active selling communities today.
