I’ve been planning ( or should I say dreaming ) on buying a new laptop for sometime now. My old laptop, a hand-me down from my mother years ago, is now totally useless and can be easily compared to a piece of metal in a junk shop. Yes, that’s how bad my laptop is.
Yesterday, while I was strolling in the Cyberzone of, something very thin caught my attention. What was it? The new Samsung ATIV Book 9. It was love at first sight!

Well, there are actually 2 versions of this ATIV Series 9 ultrabook, the Samsung ATIV Book 9 PLUS and the Samsung ATIV Book 9 LITE. Both run using Windows 8 and have aluminum unibodies with 13.3 inch screens capable of touch functionality. I prefer the color white though. Dreaming to have you soon.
Another notable difference between the 2 Samsung ATIV Book 9 Series is their price. Samsung ATIV Book 9 Lite is relatively cheaper than its counter part. In the Philippine market, the price of the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Lite starts at P29,995 while the ATIV Book 9 Plus is priced at P33,990. There are already a number of reviews online about the Samsung ATIV Book 9 series but one worth mentioning is that of Expert Reviews. Quoting Expert Reviews verdict on the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus dated August 28,2013:

The price of the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus & Lite are way cheaper compared to Apples MacBooks but for a stay-at-home mom like me, producing P30k to buy this awesome laptop is virtually impossible. So you now I understand why I used the word dreaming in the first sentence of this post.
