Every Day is a Chance to be Better: A Vision from Our President

I recently sat down with Steve, the President of abeo, to find out more about his vision for the company. Steve brings 37 years of experience in healthcare management within the specialty of anesthesia. His senior management role with the company encompasses all areas of operational leadership.

What is abeo most known for in the anesthesia community?

Steve: Our reputation is based on delivering high quality, compliant and honest services for our clients. We collect every dollar that is legally allowed for our clients. Billing compliance is of utmost importance to the company.

How do you plan to leverage that existing reputation and continue shaping abeo for future success?

Steve: Maintaining and continuing to build our reputation of quality requires more direct involvement with operations and our clients. I can’t see 100% of our clients, but I try to be as accessible as possible to them. I want our employees to allow the message of high quality and compliance to drive the best practices and top customer service across every office in the company.

Outside of maintaining abeo’s financial success, what is most important to you?

Steve: Providing a high level of service to our clients. Clients are our ambassadors to the medical community that tell others about the job we do and the service we provide.

How do you want your vision to transfer to employees at abeo?

Steve: I’m trying to decentralize decision making to empower our leaders in the local operating offices. I want them to have more day-to-day responsibility and decision-making so they can better serve our clients. We have a team of qualified, highly experienced managers and I want to leverage their experience for our business and our clients.

Leading a company is no doubt, full of challenges and obstacles for any executive. Steve’s dedication to this industry and our company is evident.
