Many forms of personality testing are in use today, but perhaps the most popular is the Myers-Briggs personality test. According to 16 Personalities, there are sixteen Myers-Briggs personalities; they are divided according to combinations of the four pairs of personality traits:

• Mind aspect. Introversion (I) or Extraversion (E).
• Energy aspect. Intuition (N) or Sensing (S).
• Nature aspect. Thinking (T) or Feeling (F).
• Tactics aspect. Judging (J) or Perceiving (P).

The sixteen personality types are divided into four groups of four: analysts, diplomats, sentinels, and explorers. ESTJ personalities are sentinels who tend to be outgoing, practical, logical, and decisive. The ESTJ (or executive) personality is one of the most popular, and many famous persons share in these personality traits.

1. Henry Ford

Henry Ford founded Ford Motors in 1903. Ford talked about turning ideas into practical products, making something of physical use instead of allowing it to remain stationed in his head. He didn’t much care for easy living, as he thought there was no place for idleness in civilization.

Ford decided to build his company shortly after leaving the Detroit Automobile Company in 1899, but he had already invested time in building his own vehicle only a few years before. At the time, there was nothing more practical than starting a business that provided people with a mode of transportation that anyone could operate.

2. Michelle Obama

Known primarily as the wife of Barack Obama, Michelle Obama enjoys doing things which are physically measurable; she says that she doesn’t usually aim to achieve anything symbolic. She believes the world needs better leadership, more people outgoing enough to take the reins and make a mark on the world.

Obama is a decisive person herself, and she believes that people with good judgement aren’t as plentiful as they should be. She has been involved with the public on a large scale (even before she was the First Lady), and she has strived to demonstrate the family values which she speaks so strongly about.

3. Saddam Hussein

Saddam Hussein, well-known for his dictation of Iraq, argued that there was no rational or realistic information surrounding the claim that Iraq had any weapons of mass destruction. Although many have despised and criticized him for his actions, he has come across as someone who likes for things to make sense.

Hussein argued that soldiers can’t perform their jobs as well unless they attempt to see the logical side of things. A study at the University of Michigan analyzed Hussein’s speech patterns and found that he did not often express feeling and rarely used metaphors to make his points.

4. Alec Baldwin

A well-known actor since his youth, Alec Baldwin is all about work. Baldwin has said that he had a greater sense of responsibility growing up than his brothers did, and this responsibility carried over into his adult acting career. In the past, he has said that it would be exciting to be in politics, particularly through serving as the governor of New York.

He comes across as charming as well as logical; in a way, he appears stripped of his compassion. His hard work has paid off over the years, and he will be remembered for his practical place in the film industry.

5. Uma Thurman

Fewer women have ESTJ personalities than men, but perhaps that is because women are taught not to be aggressive. At least that is Uma Thurman’s view. Thurman has been admired for her strong work ethic, and she claims that responsibility gives root to self-confidence.

Thurman finds it difficult to get in touch with her comical side so she can be convincing in some of her roles. As the star of Kill Bill, Thurman exercised her confidence in her abilities as a master of martial arts while simultaneously portraying a loving mother (with a strong grudge based primarily in logic).
