If you are a windows7 starter, basic or premium user, than most of you are aware that one of the important feature called Group Policy Editor(gpedit.msc) is not available in these versions. So in this post we are going to learn how to enable group policy editor in windows7 starter, basic and premium versions.

To check the availability simply press start button + R and type “gpedit.msc” without quotes and press enter. If you are using the above versions you would receive error message like the one below which confirms it is not available.

Open my computer and navigate to C drive > windows > sysWOW64(folder) and copy the following files

Now again navigate to C drive > windows > system32(folder) and paste the files you just copied. That’s it your done too.
