3D Home HD Launcher

3D Home HD is the free launcher on This is homescreen:Look like a room with 3D view, and 3D transition, very nice but it make our screen smaller. This launcher have a lot of 3D objects, they very nice. App’icons put on homescreen with a shelf, look real and beautiful.Appdrawer have cubie transition effect, transparent background. Look good but can’t folder, hide or arrange icons.

* Good animation and transitions, homescreen have beautiful effect, many good functions. But it make homescreen smaller.* Appdrawer is nice, fast but you can’t sort, hide or folder apps.* Have no theme support, support a lot of beautiful 3D objects.* 3D Home HD pro had about 60-100mb of ram, made 2 processes and 1 service for it.* Have no Gesture-controlled support* Battery-drain is NOT good.

MX Home Launcher

And this launcher is the free launcher on There are MX Home’s homescreen:First look: clean and simple. It’s ok, simple is good. We have recent apps at top of screen (you can turn it off) and dock bar at bottom. Dock bar is customizable, nice. MX home also support icon-packs – 1 point plus.And ofcourse, You can play with a number of homescreen. Transition effect is smooth and nice, have icons shaking effect, but has only one effect. And one more thing, MXhome have a task manager, where you can see running and recent apps. You can force close running apps with it. I’m not a bigfan of task killer, but someone maybe like it. You can find task manager by pressing menu button.Before continuing with other function, let’s check the appdrawer:MXhome ‘s appdrawer have top & bottom bar. It Looks too complex and those bar are too big. I don’t like blue, black & white always better, some themes let you change its color.We can sort apps by name, date and category, can see apps by list or grid. You can’t hide, can’t change app’s position. But if you sort apps by category, you can put apps into any category, it’s good way to arrage your apps by yourself. Sadly, you can’t change category’s name or change number of category. It’s have 10 categories…Anyway, i still think this appdrawer is not beautiful at all.And after a tour, you will ask me why this launcher is a 3D art launcher?We go back to homescreen. You can see the MX icon at dock-bar? It’s the highlight of the show here. Press it and it will turn on MXhome theme page. MX home ‘s themes don’t like any theme of any launcher. And it’s the only thing make MXHome become a 3D art launcher.MX Homme’s theme is just a homescreen page have 3D effect. It made just one page and you can see it any time by pressing mx icon. Have alot kind of theme, each theme give you totally diffrent feeling. Many theme pages are very beautiful and unique. I will give you some paid themes, link on MXHome’s theme store.I saw many peoples like this theme page ideal, but i, just not be impressed, theme page is like standing alone, out of the launcher and not much useful.

Yandex Shell Launcher

Yandex Shell is a free 3D launcher on

Yandex Shell has a smooth transition but sadly, have no more animation effects. It has a dock-bar at bottom, you can’t change dock-bar background but can make it transparent. Can’t change app’s icon, name; Yandex doesn’t suport theme and icon-pack. Very sad !

There are Yandex’s homescreen:

Clean, very nice. Yandex has alot of widgets and panels. Its widgets are very useful and nice. As you see in the screenshoot, the widget let you directly change brightness, turn on wifi, time and weather…

Yandex’s panels remain me about SPB Shell 3D, but SPB Shell have more panel skin and look better. One more thing make Yandex look like PSB Shell, it’s 3D carousel. Yandex has a icon named: “Carousel”, if you put it in middle of dock-bar, now it really look like SPB, and press it, you will see 3D carousel mode.

In 3D Carousel mode and panels thing, maybe Yandex look like a free version of SPB Shell.

One thing i love in this launcher is its dialer, very beautiful. I hope i can install a third-party dialer like this, smooth, fast, beautiful.

Have 2 way to see appdrawer, editable and with tabs. This is editable appdrawer:

In black background, this appdrawer look simple, nice and it allow us to hide, folder apps. Really good, it’s allmost i need on a appdrawer.

And this is appdrawer with tabs:

It group all apps, widgets and panels of Yandex and your android’s widgets on 4 tabs at bottom. Look good but can’t hide or folder apps. So my opinion, the editable appdrawer is better. Why don’t they make a editable appdrawer with tabs ? That would be great.

You can hide appdrawer by showing all app’s icon on homescreen. I think that’s a bad choice.

Regina 3D

There are Regina’s homescreens:

Home screen or in this launcher, it’s called workspace, very clean, has nice 3D transition, but in my sony xperia SL (not bad at all), i get a little laggy. It’s strange, cause this launcher’s size is very light, only 2.6mb, and i thought it will be very fast and smooth. Any way, Regina give you two 3D transition effects, but you will not see the difference if you just slide, you have to hold and slide ! So with me it’s not too good. Regina come with 5 widgets, simple and clean, i especially like the clock widget.

Good thing here is you can change name and wallpaper of any single workspace (home-screen). It mean howmany home-screen you have, you can have diffrent wallpapers and names. It’s Cool.

Regina’s dock-bar remain me about sense ui, and it’s not customizable.

Appdrawer has 3D effect. It’s very beautiful, but not smooth enough.

You can’t change anything here, it’s not customizable (…)!

* Poor customization, have no theme support, i found the theme selector, but it doesn’t work, there’s almost nothing you can change.

* Regina 3D had about 30-60mb’s of ram being used and it had made 1 processes for it.

HD 3D Launcher Pro

HD 3D launcher pro is the paid launcher on , 0.98$.

It’s look good, right?…i thought that too. I viewed their video demo, oh man, icons can be resized to hd pictures. Nice shoot. And look at their awesome appdrawer on that video demo:

Beautiful, right. That what i thought, and i really disappointed after install this launcher. HD pictures unable to load, it make everything just… bad, and nothing else to say..

About the appdrawer, i really like this ideal, very nice and smooth, but it’s too simple. Just show every apps on your phone, and these apps are too close, no folder, no hide, nothing else. If i have over 100apps, it will be the mess. Appdrawer is very important part of a launcher. Make it right, make it easy for using, and after that make it beautiful.

Anyway, this launcher come with dialer and phonebook, they look very nice, little laggy.

* Fast animation and transitions, HD icon doesn’t work, appdrawer is smooth, beautiful but you can’t sort, hide or folder apps. It’s just a mess !

* Poor customization, have no theme support, there’s almost nothing you can change. It own dialer and phonebook, they are nice.

* HD 3D launcher pro had about 20-40mb’s of ram, very light.

* Have no Gesture-controlled support

* Battery-drain is good.

SPB Shell 3D

VERSION 1.6.4

And this launcher is the 3rd of most expensive launchers on , 14.95$. And i think it’s NOT worth.

There are PSB’s homescreens:

Home screen or in this launcher, you can call it : panel, that comes with some nifty widgets (radio switches, backlight dimmer, weather forecast with a 3D chart, clock with over 60 skins, world time with a 3D globe, etc.) and resizeable folders. It has a smooth transition from panel to panel but have no more animation effects. You can’t change app’s name, icon. SPB doesn’t support theme and icon-pack. Maybe it work with you, but with me, it’s not good enough.

And ofcourse, You can play with a number of homescreen panels up to 16, which can be populated by icon shortcuts and widgets.

As you can see above, the highlight of the show here is a cool-looking 3D carousel for switching between up to 16 panels, and you can trigger it by either tapping or horizontally dragging the bottom-center button. Whilst in carousel mode, you can also rearrange the panels, change their colors, or flick away excess panels.

To switch between homescreen and app drawer, press the button at right of dock bar, and here is its appdrawer:

The appdrawer, it’s simply a Horizontal scrolling list with no effects, in black background, apps that already have a shortcut added to a panel are marked with a little home icon. You can’t hide, folder or arrenge apps yourself

You can’t change anything here, it’s not customizable (…)! but anyway, it look nice.

TSF Shell is a 3D launcher developed by TSF Studios that offers smooth, unique and as the developers put it a “customized man-machine interactive operation experience”. The launcher offers great flexibility to users in terms of customisation and ease of operation.

And this launcher is the 2rd of most expensive launchers on google store. And i think it’s worth.

TSF Shell has the added flair of beautiful 3D animation and transitions.It’s really amazing, almost all activities done within the app features animation transition effects including deletion, addition and menu showing-up or vanishing.

There are TSF’s homescreens:

It’s very clean, and i really love that.The launcher also features a dock bar that you can move around for convenience. And you can hide this dock bar into a shortcut. You can see the circle at bottom left ? it’s dock bar shortcut, it’s moveable. The dock bar also accommodates more than the typical set of four or five shortcuts and is also fully customisable.

And just like other launchers, you can play with a number of homescreen panels which can be populated by icon shortcuts and widgets. However, these panels can be viewed in 3D. Icons can also be grouped into folder which open and scroll with a nice and fluid animation. The launcher also gives an option to users to adjust the positioning of icons on the homescreen, including its horizontal and vertical alignment. Users also have the option of selecting multiple icons at once thanks to the launcher’s lasso mode and multi-select mode.

Aside from the typical Android widgets, TSF shell also offer more than 10 exclusive widgets including a messaging widget, clock ,weather, memo, music and gallery to name a few. TSF studios has also incorporated a number of 3D effects to TSF Shell Widgets that make them unique compared to ordinary Android widgets.

TSF Shell also sports a pioneering icon editing tool, which lets users customise different aspects of the icons used in the launcher including background image, text label style and icon accents. Moreover, there are a number of third-party themes available that can be applied for a more custom look.

There are two way to switch between homescreen and app drawer, hold and slide dock bar shortcut or press on icon at top right of screen to turn on 3D view:

There are six animation transition effects, and 2D-3D switch effects.It’s amazing smooth.You also can change the number of row and column, can hide, sort the app icon, can change background transparency.

* Very awesome animation and transitions, homescreen and appdrawer are beautiful and smooth.

* Highly customizable, good theme support. Its own widgets are nice. In appdrawer you can hide icons, change row & column. You can change all icons size, font type, can manually change app’s icon & name one by one (just app on homescreen), or use themes for all.

* TSF Shell had about 30-50mb’s of ram being used and it had 1 processes for it. If you have an old android phone (i tested on Xperia X10i -1GHZ, 384mb Ram, rom cock- at version 1.7.xx), this launcher is still very smooth, but when run a heavy game then quit, tsf will reload. It’s a little annoying, just on old device.

* Good Gesture-controlled support

* Battery-drain is pretty hight if you turn on all 3D animation and use its widgets. I think all 3D launchers have same this problem.
