In our last article, I have guided you about How to Launch Multiple Skype Accounts Simultaneously. Now, it’s time to guide the same for Gmail Accounts. 80% of people all over the world have more than 2 Gmail accounts for their commercial and non-commercial use and would like to log into multiple gmail accounts in the same browser.
I am one of those as I have 2 Gmail accounts for my personal and business work. Often times I seek to log into multiple gmail accounts without using different browsers. This method will teach you exactly how to do this.
But you know we cannot easily log into multiple Gmail accounts on same browser from any system. To access your accounts at the same time you must have to log-out of your first account and then you can log-in to another one. Another way is to access your accounts from 2 different browsers.
Method to Log Into Multiple Gmail Accounts
Now, Google has unleashed a new feature which is not much known and sourced by many people. The feature is named Multiple Sign-in from which you will be able to access 2 Gmail accounts simultaneously in same browser.
Preferred Browsers for using Multiple Sign-in:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Opera
- Internet Explorer
However, this feature would also work on many more browsers but I have not checked it personally yet. But you can try on other browsers.
Step to Step Guide to Log into Multiple Gmail Accounts in Same Browser:
- Firstly, log-in to your Gmail Account
- Go to Account Settings
- From the left panel, select Accounts Overview option
- Look for Multi Sign-in option from the Security section
- Click on Edit button
- Then, mark the check on ON option >> Also check marks on the conditions shown after the clicking on ON option >> Click on SAVE option
- After that, Sign Out of your account and log-in again
- Click on your Profile Picture of your account and select Switch Account from there
- Then, you will be prompted to sign-in to your another Gmail account
- Click there and sign-in to your another Gmail account
That’s it, now you are done successfully. Now, you don’t have to log-in and log-out again and again. Now, you can access your 2 accounts simultaneously in same browser.
Limitations:
The only limitation of this trick is that you can only access two Gmail accounts. It is not applicable for Blogger account or Picasa accounts. Other than this, it has no limitation.
