Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute is available on Megaport

Brisbane, Australia July 20, 2015: Megaport, a leading global software based elastic connectivity provider, announced today that it has become a Microsoft ExpressRoute partner.

With Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute enabled, customers in any Megaport enabled data center will be able to establish dedicated and secure connections to Microsoft Azure. With Megaport, customers can improve performance with dedicated access to a global ecosystem of cloud services like Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute and benefit from flexible commercial terms on an award winning SDN based network platform.

By working together, Megaport and ExpressRoute creates a cost effective solution for data migration, business continuity and disaster recovery, high performance compute applications, and workloads portability. Megaport customers using Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute can provision services up to 10G instantly and deprovision when it is no longer needed, making it an ideal fit for transferring large volumes of data or time based workloads.
