Playing with a fisheye and HDR is lot’s of fun but getting the

this photographer managed to achieve is just WOW!!!

The only way I can think he took these photos is using the infamous Nikkor

or

f/2.8 fisheye!

is quite old, beginning with the 16mm f/8 fisheye (180 degrees) in 1938.

But if I had to guess, I would guess it’s the 6mm, introduced in 1972, which is a 220° circular fisheye lens which costs around

if you can still find it.

Anyways, great creative photos!

Alain Bernard is a French (talented) swimmer. As he enters the water to set a new world record, Wolfgang Rattay is already underwater to snap the photo!

Well, not really since it’s of course not possible for a photographer to be in the pool during a swimming competition…

So, how did he shoot that?? Well, not only does he manage to snap an amazing photo, but he even cares to explain

and the set up he used…

“It is necessary to pre-position an underwater housing containing a regular Canon EOS 1D Mark 2N with (usually) a 15mm fish-eye lens.”

Good job Wolfy!

I talked about

before, but this time I won’t be reviewing the software but the service and quality of the prints!

In one word, it’s BRILLIANT!!

I was highly impressed by the quality and finish of the book. I prepped the images in Lightroom and I can honestly say that what I have in my hands is exactly what I saw on my screen.

Once the book is ready using BookMaker, you will be sent to

and will start the upload.
