OK GOOGLE Voice Commands With New Additions

If you’re too lazy to scroll through your phone options, you can access a list of voice commands on your phone by tapping the mic and saying “What should I do now” or “Show me what you got”

App-specific voice commands

“Send an  [Allo] message to [will]” (you’ll also have to say “Yes” to send the transcribed message)

This same voice command works with WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, Hike, Viber and Next Plus and there is a variety of possible formats:

“Send a [Hike] message to [Sonial]”

“Send a [WhatsApp] to [Iris]”

“Send a message with [Next Plus]”

“Send a message to [Neha] with [Viber]”

“Search for [document name] in Google Drive”

“Play [Love of my life]”(If you have same named song then be more specific like say artist name or band name)

“Shazam this song”

“Show attractions near me”(you can also use app like Trip adviser, make my trip etc )

Search [Tumblr] for [cat pictures] (more apps are added to this search-within-apps function all the time)Remember your preferred apps

If you say something such as, “OK Google, “Send a [WhatsApp] to [Noah]”, Google will automatically open the Walmart app to scan your receipt. If, however, you don’t mention the app and just say “OK Google, send a message to….”, Google will pop up a window offering you a few options.

If you repeatedly choose the same one (in this case, the hike app), Google will learn that you prefer to scan receipts with the Walmart app and will automatically launch that in the future when you say, “OK Google, scan my receipt”.
